As Osun State marks its 34th anniversary, the Corps Commander of the Osun Amotekun Corps, Chief (Dr.) Adekunle Isaac Omoyele, has extended warm congratulations to the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, and to all citizens of the state.
In a statement released in Osogbo, Chief Omoyele described the anniversary as a moment of reflection and thanksgiving—an opportunity to renew the collective commitment to unity, peace, and progress in the “State of the Living Spring.”
He commended Governor Adeleke for what he called transformative leadership, noting visible improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, digital innovation, and security. Omoyele particularly praised the Governor’s strong support for the state’s security network, including the Amotekun Corps, stressing that this has enhanced safety and stability for both residents and visitors.
The Amotekun Commander also urged citizens to remain committed to peaceful coexistence, community vigilance, and close cooperation with security agencies, emphasizing that maintaining peace is a shared responsibility.
“As Osun celebrates 34 years of existence,” he said, “let us live in peace, set aside ethnic, religious, or political differences, and work together for a safer and more prosperous future.”
Chief Omoyele concluded his goodwill message with a pledge that the Osun Amotekun Corps will continue to safeguard lives and property while partnering with communities to uphold law and order.
