Renowned Nigerian music producer, ThankGod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, has shared an emotional account of his recent battle with a kidney-related ailment, revealing that his brother saved his life by donating one of his kidneys.
Omori, who has been absent from the public eye for some time, took to social media on Wednesday to express his gratitude and recount the experience that has deeply touched the hearts of many.
In a heartfelt post on his Instagram handle, TG Omori shared a picture of himself lying in a hospital bed, visibly emotional as he received oxygen.
The image was accompanied by a powerful message in which he disclosed the sacrifice his brother made to give him another chance at life. “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidneys so I could live again,” Omori wrote. “Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die.”
The revelation has sparked an outpouring of support and prayers from fans and well-wishers across various social media platforms. Omori, who had been subtly hinting at his health struggles through cryptic tweets over the past few months, confirmed that he underwent a kidney transplant with his brother as the donor.
